Lead Bookkeeper and accountant Assistant (2006 to 2007) Blue Bear Corporation – San Diego, CA.

Lead Bookkeeper and Accountant Manager Assistant. Responsible for 2700 schools and Districts all over the United States making sure all yearly contract fees for our customers were current so they could receive support. I also called customers who had delinquent invoices and collected on some who were outdated up to 4 years that were on the books before my initial employment. Other bookkeeping duties included creating sales orders, purchase orders and invoices, monitoring and processing all A/P and A/R activity and posting in the GL accordingly, ordering all inventory coming into our warehouse, and monitoring all shipments leaving our warehouse as well as drop shipments from our vendors to our customers. In assisting the Accountant Manager, I accounted for all business and personal expenses for the President, Vice President, and Department Heads via credit cards and automatic debits from the company’s bank accounts, aiding in GL discrepancies and researching the error(s) and presenting them to the Accountant.

Administrative District & Office Coordinator / Lead Bookkeeper (1998 to 2006)

Office Manager, Lead Bookkeeper, and Human Resources contact. Responsible for assisting Albertson’s Executive Managers while maintaining sole responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, compiling financial data, quarterly and yearly financial statements, and financial security of the daily cash flow. Responsibilities also include tallying daily and weekly sales, sales and labor projections, in store accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as hiring, training and managing associates in my department. In 1999, I was chosen to open the new El Cajon store and given the responsibility of training new employees as well as setting up and maintaining a filing system for financial data, HR, and in-store receivables. As Lead Bookkeeper for twelve Albertson’s Grocery Stores, I received, coordinated and verified the financial data for each of the stores in our district and presented labor and sales statistics to our division office. I was also responsible for compiling projections to the District Manager.

Draftsperson (1998) Pacific College of Oriental Medicine - San Diego, CA.
Fulfilled a contract, which involved updating architectural drawings to current architectural standards. Prepared working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes into CAD schematics for engineering and manufacturing purposes. Plans included wiring diagrams for an ethernet network and ethernet specifications.

Draftsperson Draftsperson (1997-1998) Architectural Firm of Larson and Carpenter - San Diego, CA.

Intern assigned to work on restoration and updating drawings to present standards within the industry. Projects include the redesign of the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Cedars Sinai to render it more efficient for the patients; redesigned an office at 29 Palms Desert into a recreational area for the officers and staff. Also, assisted with updating and installing software and the training of new associates.
